Listen, You’re Not Lazy — You’re Tired
Let me say something lovingly but directly…
If you’ve been dragging lately, skipping workouts, or feeling like you have zero motivation, I promise you — you’re not lazy.
You’re tired.
Your schedule is packed.
Your brain has 18 tabs open.
And your body is whispering, “girl, please sit down somewhere.”
The holidays come with emotional load, mental load, family load, social load, and sometimes… drama load. Add work, kids, life, and health goals on top? Of course you feel stretched.
But here’s the important part:
Fatigue is not a character flaw.
And rest is not a reward — it’s maintenance.
You wouldn’t starve your plants of water and sunlight then wonder why they’re drooping. But we’ll deprive ourselves of rest and still expect to bloom.
This week, I want you to release the shame around being tired and replace it with honesty:
What does your body actually need right now — rest, food, or pressure off your plate?
Because when you meet your needs, the inner motivation you’ve been chasing naturally come back.
